Isaevski Law Advises Client in Cross-Border Matter
Isaevski Law, in cooperation with Bulgarian law firm Murliev&Yanev, provided legal assistance to Yumos in trademark opposition proceedings in North Macedonia. The matter was recently featured and published by CEE Legal Matters, highlighting the cross-border cooperation between the two firms and the legal support provided to Yumos in relation to the protection of its trademark rights in North Macedonia. The matter represents another example of Isaevski Law’s work in the field of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on the protection and enforcement of trademark rights in the North Macedonian market.

Our engagement involved providing local legal support in the proceedings before the competent authority for the protection of industrial property rights in North Macedonia, including the application of relevant North Macedonian trademark legislation. In trademark opposition proceedings, timely action and the proper identification of the applicable legal grounds are particularly important, as effective trademark protection extends beyond registration and requires active monitoring and enforcement against potentially conflicting trademark applications.
